It is pleasing to see a pare piece of Yellow sapphire. Yellow sapphire is found in mines. According to chemists, it is simply a silicate that consists of aluminum and fluorine. Pure silicate of  Yellow sapphire is as transparent as pure water. This transparent silicate is called white sapphire. But only the Yellow sapphire is considered to be the Gururatna. Yellowness in Yellow sapphire takes place due to some morbidity in fluonsyllicate. But the yellows sapphire happens to be the Guru Ratna only due to this morbidity.
